Happy New Year!
By now your Christmas decorations are down and put away (or
like mine soon will be). For some of us the Bowl season is over, for some of us
it’s tonight and for some of us THE game is Monday night! For all of us 2014 has begun.
Here are two things you can do to make 2014 your best year
ever.
Spend time every day
in God’s Word. Reading the Bible
daily feeds our hearts in ways that nothing else can come close to doing. I challenge (encourage, invite) you to join
me in reading through the Bible this year.
Here’s some steps you might take to make the Bible part of your daily
routine: EVERY DAY BIBLE
Commit yourself to
worship. Every time we gather for
worship we declare that we won’t let what’s wrong with us or with the world,
keep us from celebrating what’s right with God.
At Mountaintop we have the opportunity to worship on Sunday mornings and
Wednesday evenings. When you can't join us in person on Sunday mornings you can always join us online at Mountaintop Online Church. Here’s a hint of
what we will be focusing on in the coming months:
Sunday Mornings
On Campus and Online
@9:30 and 11:15
January – Ordinary People: How God uses ordinary people to do
extraordinary things!
February – Why Is God
Mad At Me?: Answers from the book of
Job.
March – Noah: The Real Story
Wednesday Evenings
On Campus @ 6:30
This winter we will be focusing on leadership development. Paul
wrote to the Ephesians that we are to teach so that “God’s people would be thoroughly equipped to minister and
build up the body of the Anointed One.” (Ephesians 4: 12). Therefore,
on Wednesday evenings our purpose will be to equip spiritual leaders to learn
and share a better way of life.

All of our

Everyone is always welcome and encouraged to bring a friend.
2014 promises to be an incredible year.
Make the most of it by spending time in God’s Word and in worship and
then hold on as He takes you to the places He has prepared.
For His glory!
